To begin this article I must start with it’s conclusion.

The decision for a woman to lose her extra childbearing weight is between her doctor and herself.

Even at that, the decision is ultimately up to the woman alone. She only can decide whether or not she is willing to go through the process (and stress) of losing extra pregnancy weight.

However, the woman’s decision is usually made from many factors, factors which will encourage or discourage her in this very personal decision.

One of the main factors in a woman’s life is her husband. At this point I want to encourage husbands to be supportive of their wives who has bared life inside her body.

Children are produced though both the woman’s egg and man*s sperm, this make the child as much a part of the man as it is the woman’s. It is however the woman who has the ability to protect the new life by, it being nestled in the center core of her body.

In order for this nestling to remain and be completed, it must take the woman’s body through some journeys of changes. Changes which includes but are not limited to the physical, mental emotional and hormonal sides of the woman.

It is physical-weight gain that most woman find to be the biggest drama of their afterbirth bodies. Mainly due to today*s society of thin bodies being better bodies.

However we know that how thin a woman is has nothing to do with how great her body is! I want to personally challenge and encourage men who have wives with new bodies; as the result of bringing forth new life. Beginning with:

RESPECT: Small word, Big Results! To say it quite plainly, husbands RESPECT your wives for bringing forth new life, that the world may go forward! Keep in mind that this is an accomplishment you will never have the pleasure of experiencing. To help you along, here is a 10 pointer guideline.

1.) The only time to call your wife out of her name is to call her a loving name. Sweety Cakes, Honey Bun ect. is appropriate.

Note: “My Pretty Fat Piggy.” Is NOT appropriate!

2.) Often express to her how

grateful you are, that she bared the children which the two of you together created.

3.) Be supportive of her emotional state, especially if she is a new mom, as she may be going through postpartum.

4.) Only speak positively about her new body. Don’t make comments such as these, “You weren*t this size when I married you.” “I bet you couldn’t fit into your wedding dress now.” “How much did you weigh when we were married?”

5.) Respect, Enjoy and Treasure your wife’s new body! With a new look, your intimate moments can become intimate encounters! Explore, ENJOY and I repeat RESPECT!

6.) a. Always tell her, “I Love You!”

b. Always show her your love.

c. Always do what make her to KNOW you love her!

7.) Refrain from placing compliments on another woman, be it a woman on television or a woman dining at the table across from you.

8.) Knowledge, know that your wife isn’t going to always look and dress as she did before her pregnancy. She now has a baby or babies who demand her time and attention, this takes away from the time she would usually spend on herself. A compassionate husband would understand this and still be able to compliment their wife.

9.) If ever, you wonder about something being appropriate to do or say, reflect on this question.”Does this fall under RESPECT?”If you know it does not, then don’t do or say it.If it does, then do, do and say it.

10.) Honor your wife for being your wife and know that “her price is far above rubies”

In conclusion, the decision for a woman to lose her extra childbearing weight is between her doctor and herself.Even at that, the decision is ultimately up to the woman alone.

An Interview with Success Story, Caitlin Johnson

If you don’t know who Caitlin is, you will soon. Sheappears in the June, 2005 Issue of Ironman Magazine. But Caitlin isn’t your everyday super fitness competitor/model.Let’s face it, many women look at women in these magazinesand wish they were blessed with their genetics. They think theydon’t have your problems, or your metabolism and they don’thave to work nearly as hard to look as good as they do.They’re just lucky.

Well, no more excuses. Cat worked extremely hard to getwhere she is. And I had the pleasure of interviewing thisamazing young woman. After you read this inspiring interview, you can go to my site and see some wonderful before and after pictures.

1. Cat, you’ve managed to lose 70 pounds of fat. This is phenomenal and I congratulate you once again. You should be very proud of what you have accomplished. Many people are unhappy with their weight, their job, etc. What was it that finally motivated you to get in the gym and start eating properly? Correct me if I’m wrong, but if you are like most people, you must’ve been unhappy with how you looked for some time before making the committment to do something about it..

If this is accurate, what do you think kept you from taking action all that time?

A. 1) When your stuck in a lifestyle that is unhealthy but familiar it has to been something exstreme to motivate you to change your life. For me it was the scale and me making 182lbs, which was 20 pounds away from 200 pounds. In my mind 200 lbs was too heavy and I decided I could never make that weight and be able to live with myself.

Second I had just taken a kickboxing class from a teacher that had the ultimate physique and I could relate to her because she was short and a female.

Every day I trained with Denise Hart I worked hard because I was striving to look like her. What kept me from really putting my whole heart into training before is I didn’t relate to the other trainers because they were men and I couldn’t relate to them. Even now as a competitive athlete my trainers relate to me because they’ve all been athletes.

2. How did you get started with your new liftestyle? In other words, what changes did you make, or planning did you do, to give yourself the best chance at success?

A. 2) To get started Denise gave me a plan and I tried to follow it the best I could. Small meals, no sugar or fat, lot’s of cardio and two full body circuits.

3. What problems did you have to overcome in order to stay on track with your new fitness program? You obviously must have been living a dramatically different lifestyle than you had lived previously. Some of the popular excuses I’ve heard from people I’ve trained include “not enough time”(both for exercising and eating right), “eating healthy is too expensive”, “don’t see results fast enough”, “weights will make me big and bulky”, “have trouble sticking with an exercise routine”. What were the obstacles you had to overcome?

A 3) For me if I have a plan to follow I’m fine. It’s when I’m not restricted I lose control. In the beginning I had to realize if I drank 3 beers a night I wasn’t going to lose weight. I also have quite a sweet tooth so I had to cut my sugaryStarbucks drinks out.

4) How did you

overcome those problems? What specific techniques did you use to make your dreams a reality?

A 4) Denise would be hard on me and tell me not to waste her time. She was right and the harder she was on me the better I was. She use to say “Do you want it”? In my mind that made me strive far and never give up.

5) Moving forward and knowing what you know now, what would you have done differently?

A 5) I would’ve signed on with Kim Oddo in the beginning . It took me four years because I didn’t eat much protein and then for a few years did the no carb diet which was a total waste of time.

6. What would you have done the same way, and will continue to do, going forward?

A 6) CARDIO BABY! It burns calories, raises endorphins, relieves stress, etc.

7. Do you feel that ongoing feedback and motivational tools would help in maintaining a fitness program? For example, appearing in the June, 2005 issue of Ironman must be very motivational. This won’t be a motivational tool most people can use. Before achieving that type of success, what types of motivational tools did you lose to keep going? After all, you don’t lose 70 pounds of fat overnight and it must’ve taken some time before you could see the positive changes in the mirror.

A 7) What some people don’t realize is a support team can be the most important thing in training to reach a hard goal. I truly believe in having a great trainer like Joanne Rubienstein, Kim Oddo, Stephen Bauer or Denise Hart.

I personally love to train so I don’t need motivation to get to the gym but when the results slow down I need someone to tell me that I can do it. What kept me going was the belief that I could do it and prove the world wrong.

Sometimes it feels like my job is to prove people wrong. They talk their talk but in the end I will accomplish what I’m striving for and they’ll look dumb for saying that I’ll never achieve my goal. Sorry if that was a little pissy, but I get tired of people doubting me. If I can drop 40% body fat I think I can make it to Olympia!

8. If you were to advise a close friend or family member hot to follow in your fitness footsteps, what would you tell them?

A Run far away and find an enjoyable job! I truly believe I did all this because of fate. I don’t even really remember the time I said I want to be a competitor. The diets and training are tough and rewarding at the same time. I have accomplished a lot but I also sacrifice a lot of things in life that are enjoyable.

All I can say is I’m going after a DREAM and won’t give up until I accomplish it. It’s not only for me, it’s for the general population that has lost belief in themselves. My advice is to go after your dreams, believe in yourself and get the right people to help you. That’s the key to being successful!

While low-fat dieters and non-dieters may want to avoid chicken skins andfat on meat, most “low carb” diet plans encourage low carb dieters to do the exact opposite.

The reasoning for this somewhatsurprising deviation from commonwisdom is two-fold.

The first part–as described bylow-carb dietitians–postulates that skins and fats are unhealthy, but onlywhen they aren’t converted into energy.

When skins and fats aren’t convertedinto energy, they raise your cholesterol, clog your arteries, and impede weight-loss.This is what happens whenlow-fat dieters and non-dieters addskins and meat fats to their normal diets.

Low carb dieters–in contrast–do notconsume glucose in the form of carbohydrates,so they must get energy from somewhere else. One place they get it from is stored body fat; and the other place theyget it is from fat–such as skins and meatfats–that are rerouted through an alternatemetabolic pathway to yield energy.

Not only are skins and meat fatshealthy for low carb dieters, but theycan also give them a boost inenergy that they may be lackingas a result of their glucose-deficientdiet.

There is one other reason why skins andfats are an important part of low carb diets.

Skins and fats satiate the bodyto prevent both cravings and”survival-mode” hormone secretions.

When

the body is not takingin enough calories in the formof glucose and fat, it will convertas many calories as it can (outof the few you are taking in) into the form of stored fats.

In order to prevent thesecretion of the hormones thatcause this “survival mode” reaction, you must take inan adequate amount offat–and eating skins andmeat fats is an easy wayto do that.

There is only one thing I willadd to this advice–and thatis a word of caution:being on a low carb dietallows you to consume skinsand fats healthfully, but it is stillimportant that you make sureyou are not over-consuming.Double check with your planto ensure you are eating reasonablequantities and consider gettingyour cholesterol levels checkedby a physician regularly.

Back “in the day” when I used to be a full time personal trainer and I met with clients in person at my New Jersey Health Club, the first thing I would always ask my clients during the initial consultation was:

“Tell me exactly what you want… and I’ll show you how to get it.”

Typical reply from client:

“I want to lose 20 pounds fast.”

My reply:

“Are you SURE that’s what you want? If I can show you how to lose 20 pounds REALLY, REALLY fast, will that make you happy?”

They nodded their head affirmatively as their eyes lit up in anticipation of the quick weight loss secrets I was about to reveal…

Their face went white when – with a totally straight face – I pulled out a hacksaw and started walking towards them…. menacingly.

Not sure whether to laugh or to run away in sheer terror, they said,

“What the heck are you doing?”

“You said you wanted to lose 20 pounds fast. This is the easiest, surest, most effective way I know to take 20 pounds off you FAST! In fact, I figure that right leg of yours might even weigh 25 pounds!”

I kept walking closer and started to get into sawing position, wielding my fast, effective and guaranteed weight loss tool…

“Bear with me because this IS quick, but sometimes it takes a few minutes for me to cut through the bone.”

By this time, my client and I are either completely cracking up, or I have seriously scared the living you know what out of them, or they just think I’m a complete lunatic… (it depends on whether I was able to keep a straight face or not).

Finally, the light bulb goes on, and my client would see where I was going with this:

“Okay, smart alec,” I get it… I don’t want to lose WEIGHT, I want to lose FAT.”

Sometimes I would be having so much fun, I would just keep on playin’…

“But why not? This is easy, fast and guaranteed – just what everyone wants these days… it’s even better than taking a pill! Come on… let me hack it off! You’ll be my next testimonial: ‘I lost 20 pounds in 5 minutes!’ Imagine what that will do for my business!”

“Very funny. I told you, I get it, I get it! I want to lose FAT, not muscles and bones. I need my leg!

Naturally, of course, I didn’t always have to pull out my trusty blade. Every once in a while… about as often as a total solar eclipse… a client answers my question like this:

“What do I want? Tom, I want to lose 20 pounds of body fat in the next 12 weeks. I want to do it slowly, safely and healthfully and then keep it off permanently. I want all the fat around my hips and thighs completely gone and I want a firm flat stomach. I want muscle all over my body while still looking feminine. I’d like to see myself at about 16% body fat and maintain all my muscle or gain a few pounds of lean mass if I can, especially in my arms. This is important to me because I want to set a good example for my kids, I want to be healthy and live to at least 90 and I want my husband to look at me and say, “I love your body, honey,” and I want to be able to *honestly* say back to him, “me too!”

It is on these rare occasions that I know there is still intelligent life on this planet.

If you could answer the question, “What do you want” with the degree of clarity that this woman did, I don’t think you would ever have any difficulty reaching your health and fitness goals… or any other goal in your life, for that matter.

This answer is what you call a very “well-formed” goal, backed up with lots of emotional motivation-inducing “reasons why.”

“I want to lose weight” is a poorly-formed goal.

“Weight” is not the same as “fat.” Weight includes muscle, bone, internal organs as well as lots and lots of water.

If you only get ONE thing from this article, get this:

WHAT YOU REALLY WANT IS TO BURN THE FAT, WHILE KEEPING THE MUSCLE!!!!

FAT LOSS is what you want, not weight loss.

If your body was 100% rock-solid muscle, with absolutely nothing that jiggled (unless it was supposed to), would you care how much you weighed?

I bet you wouldn’t!

SO STOP WORSHIPPING THE SCALE AND START MEASURING YOUR BODY COMPOSITION!

By measuring your body fat, you take the guesswork out of your health and fitness plan and you get an accurate picture of what’s really happening in your body as a result of your diet and exercise program.

Instead of worrying about whether you are losing muscle, or wondering if you are losing fat, you can measure it and KNOW for sure. (I always get a good chuckle when someone tells me they’re worried about losing muscle when they don’t even measure how much muscle they have!)

Instead of being

confused by all the “opinions” from weight loss and exercise “experts” who are all telling you something different, you can MEASURE your body composition and based on the results, you can KNOW for sure whether your program is working.

A very wise man once said,

“A single measurement is worth a thousand opinions.”

So, how do you measure body fat?

There are many methods. Thanks to technology, there are some methods today that are so accurate, they can tell you whether your left pinky has more fat than your right pinky! Unfortunately, many of them are either too expensive or they are inaccessible, being found only in hospitals or research facilities.

Instead of boring you with a lecture about all the various body fat testing methods, let me give you three quick and easy, practical suggestions:

Suggestion 1: Have a trainer or fitness professional measure your body fat if this service is available at your local health club. Sometimes, there’s a charge – usually $15 – $25, although some clubs offer the service for free to all their members.

Suggestion 2: Purchase an Accu-measure skinfold caliper. The Accumeasure was designed to allow you to measure your own body fat in the privacy of your own home (you don’t need someone else to measure you). Do a google or yahoo search to find a reseller.

Some people wonder if this is really accurate. Truth is, it’s not quite as accurate as a multi site skinfold test from an experienced tester, but it’s better than nothing. Besides, what’s most important is not the “accuracy” per se, but the reliability and consistency of your measurements so you can track your progress. Skinfold calipers in general are not accurate or inaccurate, it’s the person doing the test that is accurate or inaccurate.

Suggestion 3: If you have a spouse, roommate, or friend who can measure your body fat, you can purchase a “Slim Guide” body fat caliper. The Slimguide is the best inexpensive (about $20), caliper available for multi-site testing, but it wasn’t designed for you to measure your own body fat like the Accu Measure. Other models of body fat calipers (if you want to splurge), range from $150 to $450. (At our health clubs, I use the electronic “SKYNDEX” caliper with the 4-site “Durnin formula.”)

The calipers come with instructions, or you can use these formulas, which I have used and found to be very accurate:

4 Site formula for men (abdomen, suprailiac, thigh, tricep)

% fat = .29288(sum of 4 skinfolds) – 0.0005(sum of four skinfolds squared) + 0.15845(age) – 5.76377

4-Site Formula for women (abdomen, suprailiac, thigh, tricep)

% Fat = (.29669)(sum of 4 skinfolds) – (.00043)(Sum of four skinfolds squared) + .02963(age) + 1.4072

Source: Jackson A S, Pollock, M (1985) Practical assessment of body composition. Physician Sport Med. 13: 76-90.

Body fat percentages vary based on age and gender, but 20-25% body fat is average for women (15-19% is ideal), while 15-20% is average for men (10-14% is ideal).

Once you know your body fat percentage, then weigh yourself and record your weight and body fat on a progress chart. You can also calculate your lean body mass (muscle and other fat free tissue) very easily just by crunching some numbers:

For example, if you weigh 200 pounds and you have 10% body fat then you have 20 pounds of fat (10% of 200 = 20). That means you have a lean body mass (LBM) of 180 pounds. Now we’re talking! With this data, you can get a really clear picture of how your exercise and nutrition program are affecting your physique.

Losing weight is very easy. Losing fat – and keeping it off without losing muscle – is a much bigger challenge. If you simply wanted to lose weight, we could just chop off your leg. Or, (slightly less painful), I could show you how to drop 10 – 15 pounds over the weekend just by dehydrating yourself and using natural herbal diuretics. Bodybuilders and wrestlers do it all the time to make a weight class. But what good would that do if it’s almost all water and you’re just going to gain it all back within days?

You don’t have to “throw away your scale” like many “experts” tell you to. By all means, keep using the scale, the tape measure and even photographs and the mirror – the more feedback the better, but body fat is where it’s at.

By the way, I recently bought a chain saw and a shiny new axe from Home Depot, and I’ve been practicing my “American Psycho” and Jack Nicholson, “The Shining” impersonations… so if you want to come to my office any time soon for personal consultation, you’d better have the right answer to my question, “What do you want?”

I’m sure you have heard it before, but one of the best ways to control your caloric intake and lose weight is to eat more often throughout the day. Ideally, you should eat 5 to 6 times per day, with 2 ½ to 3 ½ hours between each meal or snack. There are several reasons why this works.

1. Eating more frequently gets your metabolism going and keeps it working at an elevated level continuously throughout the day.

2. It will amp up your energy and keep your insulin level constant.

3. Because you are eating more frequently, you should eat a smaller portion at each meal or snack. Use some common sense here and remember the key word is SMALL! If you are eating your normal portions, this won’t work! This isn’t as hard as it sounds, because you just won’t be as hungry since you just ate 2 or 3 hours ago.

4. Since you are not as hungry, it is much easier to pick a lean and healthy snack. When you let yourself get very hungry, you are much more likely to grab whatever is in sight. This is also when you start to crave all of those things that are so high in fat and calories, and you will probably eat more of it.

5. Even though you will ideally be eating LESS food that you are now, you will feel like you are eating MORE. Your mind and body will equate eating more frequently with more food, and therefore feeling more satisfied.

6. Knowing that you will be eating more often, you should plan ahead for your meals and snacks. This, too, will help to insure that you pick foods that are good for you and fit into a lean and healthy diet.

7. The thermogenic effect of eating several small meals is slightly higher than eating the same amount

of calories all at once.

8. Eating little and often also really helps to control hunger and makes you less likely to binge.

Is it easy to incorporate eating 5 to 6 times per day into your schedule? Not at first! It does take a little extra time and planning. Is it worth it? Absolutely! If you do it sensibly, it will help you to control your fat and calorie intake. The result is reaching and/or maintaining your weight loss goals.

Another great tool is to use a diet journal to track your food intake. Once you start tracking your nutritional intake, you will really start to see every aspect of where your calories are coming from. Here is a free diet journal:

http://www.shapefit.com/diet-journals.html

Make sure each small meal has a lean protein source. Shoot for about 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight and divide this number by your total meals throughout the day. Here are a few quick and healthy snacks I incorporate into my daily plan:

Healthy Snack #1: 1 cup of Non-Fat Cottage Cheese & 1 scoop of whey protein powder (chocolate mint). Mix them up in a bowl and you will be amazed how good it tastes!

Healthy Snack #2: 1 cup of all natural rolled oats & 5 egg whites. Mix the oats with a little water and microwave for about 1 minute. Spray a little Pam cooking spray on a pan and cook up the egg whites over medium heat. Finally pour the egg whites into the oatmeal and mix.

Any doctor worth their salt will tell you diets don’t work. Plain and simple. Surprised?

Well you might be. You can’t get away from all the talk about South Beach, Atkins, Low Carb, Zone … you name it, they’re talking about it. It’s on TV, in magazines… everywhere you look.

And of course there are the pills, drugs and other expensive methods to lose weight. While they may be appropriate in certain cases, by and large they aren’t necessary. Some can actually be dangerous to your health.

What does work, what’s been proven to work time and time again is something very simple… a lifestyle change. You may not want to hear it, but it’s true.

You can’t eat thousands of calories, rich desserts, sugary snacks, excess fat and tons of carbs, get little or no activity and expect to lose weight with a pill!

You’ll be surprised to know that you don’t need to stop eating or have to exercise for hours every day to lose weight. Just a few simple lifestyle changes added daily can turn your life around quickly. You will start to lose weight within days and feel better as well.

Here are 4 tips you can use to get started today:

Drink water.

Drinking lots of water is probably the single most important thing you can do for your health. Water delivers nutrients throughout your body, flushes toxins out of your system and aids in digestion. When you get up in the morning, start with a full glass of water before you

start your day (add a little lemon if you like). Then get at least 10-12 additional glasses of water in throughout the day.

Eat slowly.

Chew your food 10-12 times before swallowing. Your saliva starts the digestion process, and if you don’t chew enough, your stomach has to work twice as hard and many times you don’t get much out of the foods you eat — except maybe some indigestion .

Split your entree.

When eating out, split your entree with your dining companion. Most restaurants now serve portions that are up to 8 times the recommended serving size. Supplement with a salad, soup or vegetable to complete your meal.

Avoid sodas.

Did you know that an average soda has 14 teaspoons of sugar? Not only are these empty calories and carbs that take you on a blood sugar roller coaster and adds pounds, the sugar also can also cripple your immune system for up to 5 hours leaving your body working overtime and open to infections, viruses and the effects of stress. Drinking one soda a day alone can pack on 16 lbs of unwanted weight! Skip that soda and watch the weight go away. Additionally, recent studies have linked increased soda consumption with certain cancers and a loss of essential minerals like calcium from our bodies.

You CAN do it!

Phentermine, like galore even more prescription drugs, works chemically called neurotransmitters for your brain. These neurotransmitters signal a fight or flight response for your body which, successively, puts a prevent to the hunger signal. As a result, you lose your appetence because your brain doesn’t receive the hunger message.

Phentermine, like galore even more prescription drugs, works chemically called neurotransmitters for your brain. It actually stimulates your nerve cell bundles to release a particular group of neurotransmitters titled catecholamines, these include Intropin, epinephrin (formally titled adrenalin), and noradrenaline (noradrenalin).

These neurotransmitters signal a fight or flight response for your body which, successively, puts a prevent to the hunger signal. As a result, you lose your appetence because your brain doesn’t receive the hunger message.

This drop by appetency is perchance imputable phentermine’s infects on leptin levels in the brain. It’s theorized that phentermine can raise levels of leptin which signal fullness. It’s besides theorized that exaggerated levels of the catecholamines square measure partly causative halting another chemical traveler know as neuropeptide Y. This chemical initiates ingestion, decreases energy expenditure, and increases fat storage.

What’s a Neurochemical, in any case?

Neurotransmitters ar chemicals for your system and brain. They act as messengers, relaying electrical messages between the cells (neurons) of the systema nervosum or brain. A lot of people have naturally low levels of neurotransmitters. This condition may lead to diseases like depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and fatness, et al.

Prescription drugs work by moving neurotransmitters from one place to an extra, only do nothing to increase the supply of neurotransmitters in the systema nervosum or brain. These drugs trick your brain into thinking there square measure even more neurotransmitters than there actually area unit. Because of this, your brain slows down the production of neurotransmitters.

Phentermine: When Diet and Exercise Aren’t Enough

Have you been troubled to melt off, just diet and exercise aren’t returning you the results you expect to be healthy? Ar you fed higher people telling you that you will melt off if only you had the will-power? It can be time to ask a MD about a phentermine prescription.

What is Phentermine?

Remember those 50s movies where women lost weight by taking amphetamines? We know now that amphetamines can be incredibly dangerous, so they don’t make safe weight-loss drugs. With chemicals, phentermine is a trifle like amphetamines, just isn’t one. So it’s the weight-loss effect easily fewer “Valley of the Dolls” worries for you.

Phentermine is associate suppressant – it changes the chemicals made by your brain to create you feel less hungry. A select number researchers think that it mightiness

besides speed higher your metabolism. Short apply of phentermine has been shown to help people UN professional area unit already on diet and exercise programs slim down.

It sounds correct! Nevertheless do i bestir oneself?

Even given that phentermene isn’t associate stimulant drug, it can have great side-effects, so before you are able to get phentermene, you desire a prescription. If your body-mass index (calculated from your height and weight) is high (over 30) your doctor may agree that a drug should be extra to your diet and exercise program. You’ll be the drug for a select few weeks or months, after which you’ll be ready to shoulder on your weight-loss program on his have steam!

If you have coronary artery disease, a history of drug or drug addiction, allergies to certain medications, high-blood pressure, polygenic disorder, or square measure on certain anti-depressants (especially MAO inhibitors), your doctor may imply a different drug for you.

All these list! Which phentermine is which?

If you happen to be able to read your doctor’s handwriting, you could notice she’s prescribed a drug with a different name than “phentermine.” Phentermine is just the name of the chemical found in a number of different products. Adipex, Phentercot, Teramine, Fastin and Pro-fast area unit all brand list for drugs that have the equivalent active ingredient, phentermine.

Ionamin has phentermine in a favourite “resin” formula that helps it last lengthier. Phentermine xxxvii.5 is just a generic version of phentermine that comes in a huge dose. Phentermine cardinal .5 is spectacular if you want a larger dose of the drug.

Wherever do i go from right here?

To move you get the most out of your phentermine prescription, act to keep this hurly burly list handy:

• Get your prescription refilled before you run out of pills; online pharmacies can install a regular refill for you, as prescribed by your doctor.

• Sign in with your doctor if you start having side-effects like wakefulness, nightmares, difficulty breathing, or anguish.

• If you feel the appetite-suppression is wearing off, it’s time to talk to your doctor about going off the medication.

• Don’t forget – this drug works its magic with exercise and diet – so keep higher your have wonderful work for best results!

My name is Greg Ryan. I am a high profile fitness expert, champion bodybuilder and best selling author. However, I didn’t start out as one. I had to learn through class rooms and experience. There are no better teachers than exercising on the floors of all those health clubs I visited for so many years.

I had no clue how to workout properly, how many reps, sets, minutes on a treadmill or foods to eat. But, I learned through trial and error. It amazes me how I have kept going consistently all these years coming from a non disciplined background. Here are ten things that have helped me lose weight more efficiently during each visit and have helped me keep going for twenty years straight:

1.	Treat your time in the gym as your quiet time for YOU!

2.	Set a time frame each time you work out. Walk out if you are not finished!

3.	Never do the same workout more than twice in a row. Maybe just change the order of a piece of equipment up.

4.	Monitor

your heart rate EVERY time you exercise your heart.

5.	Never be afraid to ask for help.

6.	Do not waste much time between exercises.

7.	Focus on the benefits and how you will feel afterwards rather than the discomfort during your workout.

8.	Realize you will not be at your best each and every time.

9.	Learn to listen to your body more than your mind.

10.	Journal, journal, and journal.

Now let me give you my magic secret to being successful in losing weight, gaining muscle, or just general fitness: consistency + variety + efficiency = results all the time! Each day you workout out, remember; it’s about the big picture. It’s about sticking to it for the long haul. It’s about being sold out!

As most Americans know, losing that excess bodyfat for good will bring us a LONG list of benefits. Lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, decreased risk of some cancers, and so on. Besides just helping us look and feel better, achieving true fitness also prevents bone loss, improves memory, eases the symptoms of menopause, and more! In short, regular exercise and bodyfat reduction will all years to our lives by minimizing so many life-threatening conditions.

Now, thanks to new research from Britain, we can actually say how many years we might gain by losing that excess weight once and for all! Researcher Tim Spector of St. Thomas’ Hospital (U.K.) is part of the team that studied 1,100+ British women between 18 and 76 years of age.

“Telomeres cap the ends of chromosomes in cells and protect them from damage. However, each time a cell divides — and as people age — these caps get shorter, so decreases in telomere length have long been associated with the aging process.

Reporting June 14 in the early online edition of The Lancet, the British researchers found that telomeres of obese women…..were much shorter than those of lean women…… In contrast, lean women had much longer telomeres than moderately overweight women who, in turn, had longer telomeres than obese women.” (Source: HealthDay News)

The researchers found that obese women aged an additional 8.8 years more than lean women (based on telomere length). Wow, 8.8 years!

By the way, this study also focused on smoking and how that impacted

aging in women. Perhaps surprisingly, this study found that women who do (or have) smoked aged an additional 4.6 years. What’s surprising about this finding is that obesity appears to cause more ‘aging damage’ than smoking, at least in some women.

There you have it, yet another reputable study proving that regular exercise can add years to our life (and life to our years!). The evidence is absolutely OVERWHELMING: maintaining a fit body through regular exercise will help us live longer!

Besides, we want to look good in a bathing suit this summer!

The other day, I was talking with my sister about eating healthy and she said, “Breakfast is the hardest meal for me. After all, what can you eat besides bacon, sausage, or eggs?” Eating breakfast is essential to your weight loss efforts. A National Weight Control Registry survey has shown that people who eat breakfast tend to be slimmer than people who do not. Eating breakfast kick starts your metabolism in the morning.

Because eating a healthy breakfast is a problem for many people, I would like to share with you some ideas for this meal to help you start your day right.

Omelets – Okay I know these are made with eggs, but let’s make them healthier. To start, mix three egg whites together, plus one yolk. Cook the mixture in a pan that has been coated with cooking spray. Fill the omelet with green onions, red peppers, mushrooms, and low fat mozzarella cheese. For an added kick, serve with 2 tablespoons of chunky salsa or low fat sour cream.

Breakfast pizza – To create an Italian masterpiece, simply spray two whole wheat English muffin halves with olive oil spray. Toast lightly. Top the halves with two tablespoons of tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce on each. Then add some chopped vegetables, such as peppers, mushrooms, artichokes, or olives. Cover the vegetables with part-skim mozzarella cheese and bake for 10-15 minutes in a 425 degree oven. This pizza also makes a good lunch.

Smoothies – Want something sweet and healthy? Try a Strawberry, Orange, and Banana Smoothie. To make one, pour one cup of orange juice in a

blender. Add one cup of frozen strawberries, one whole banana, and a scoop of vanilla flavored protein powder. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!

Nutty Yogurt – If you are in a hurry, nothing beats a small container of fruit flavored non-fat yogurt and mixed with 2 TBSP. of almonds, pecans, or walnuts. Alternatively, you can also stir in ½ cup of quick cooking oats.

If you want a more traditional breakfast, then there is always breakfast cereal. For maximum nutrients, you want to make sure that the cereal you choose has at least five grams of fiber per serving. Add ½ banana or a cup of berries for an extra vitamin boost and top with either skim or 1% milk.

With a little creativity, you can develop your own favorites. Use this meal to set the tone for good nutrition all day long.
